Man, if only Alex (upper right) was a bit more in focus...Still, I love the expressions, so it is my official POTD.

297/365 - fall is here
I think it is official today, or maybe yesterday...Shooting everyday has really highlighted the changing of the seasons. Certainly one of the unexpected highlights of this project.
296/365 - yikes
So not exciting, but it is the best I can do. I actually shot some decent shots at our volleyball match, but I am not super comfortable posting them...plus, we were pretty bad and I want to forget that match entirely!
295/365 - alex at sunset
Another walk with my girls after work. They wanted to play on the playground for a bit, but our dog is not allowed...Hence the fence.

294/365 - defeated
I look distraught here, but I am actually ok. One of my players borrowed my camera and I wanted to make sure I knew where her photos ended and mine begun. This was the shot I took to separate them...Kinda sad it become my POTD...
293/365 - extension tube
Pretty inexpensive way to turn a 50mm lens into a nice little macro lens. Fun!
292/365 - on the road again
Down to Monterey for a couple of games. Starting to really like this team, but I am really, really missing my girls back home.
290/365 - streets of sf
Taking the bus home from San Francisco. A collection of happiness and hope as we won our 7th straight match, but lost one of our best young players with a nasty ankle sprain...
289/365 - self portrait
Not an effect, this is my reflection in the disco ball that hangs in our office.
288/365 - mugatu tree
This old oak had the look of the evil Mugatu character from Zoolander... Or maybe I am getting delirious from stress and lack of sleep.

287/365 - missed you...
I love coaching, but I am missing my girls more and more. Little Baby J looks sad here, but she was actually all smiles when I got home from the tournament. Yay!
286/365 - champs
Saw this in the boys locker room before our team went 5-0 and won our first tournament of the year. I actually laid on the floor of the locker room to get this, kind of nasty now that I look back on it...Plus, I should have had just a slightly more extensive dof to catch the details on the back of the shoes...Oh well...
284/365 - let the games begin
I know, not the best shot ever. I was nervous before our fist match of the season and grabbed just two shots while our junior varsity team was playing.
Not proud of this entry, but stoked about our 3-0 victory!

281/365 - thistle II
After sunset, driving home from practice I remembered I had not yet taken a shot of the day.
280/365 - escaping the cave
It looks a bit ominous, but they are really just exiting the penguin exhibit at the Santa Barbara Zoo.
279/365 - the end of summer
Visited grandparents down in Santa Barbara. I was amazingly relaxed, which is not something I am used to. It was a great summer, can't wait till the next one!
278/365 - Cave Art
My girls visited by school a few days ago and used my whiteboard for their creative outlet. Thought I would snap a shot before I erased it to write 'artistic' mathematical formulas...

277/365 - i 'heart' alex
One week into kindergarten and she is loving it. Sooooo happy to see her smiling.
