Big storm hitting the coast today, so we took a morning walk and then packed and bolted back to Norcal. Last shot before we left...

rainbow grass

Went on a photo shoot in my front yard and was heading back in when this ornamental grass caught my eye. the middle stalk has an amazing texture that I did not even notice until I popped the image into Photoshop.

future daisy chain

Spent most of the last day of Christmas break holed up in my classroom, grading exams and preparing for school to begin again tomorrow. When I finally got home, we went to the park. In the summer we pick these guys and make bracelets, necklaces and tiaras...can't wait!
